2014 Clavinova Festival
Students compete against 12-15 students in the preliminary rounds. The audience then chooses 2 students from each round to go on to the Gala Recital.

Ryan earned First Class Honors for his Level 2 Piano Practical (Performance) Assessment. Ryan additionally received First Class Honors with Distinction for his perfect (100) score on the Theory Preparatory Rudiments Exam.
Christina earned First Class Honors for her Level 3 Piano Practical (Performance) Assessment.

A Special Award
The Royal Conservatory of Music has awarded one of my 4th grade students, Ryan D., a Certificate of Excellence. Ryan was given the award for having the highest marks in his test center and in the State of Texas. His exam was for the Preparatory B Level. The assessment encompassed: repertoire, technique, musicianship and musical literacy.

2014 Sonatina/Sonata Festival

Four students prepared for and played in the Richardson Music Teachers Sonatina/Sonata Festival on Saturday, February 22.

Caleb performed Benda's Sonatina in A minor. With this Festival, he also achieved his 30 point trophy! Bravo, Caleb! Aaron performed Salutrinskaya's Sonatina in D Major.
